Research is an important tactic to consider when b Research is an important tactic to consider when beginning a new project. Before we start building a brief around specific objectives it’s imperative that we know we have a solid insight to base our campaign on. We always advocate and educate on the importance of taking the time to do qualitative and quantitative research when the right challenge calls for it.

For a banking client operating across the eastern U.S., RBK conducted targeted quantitative research to understand what mattered most to audiences when choosing a banking partner. The research aimed to inform a campaign that would increase brand awareness in key geographic markets, encourage new account openings and support the bank’s quarterly financial goals.

Through a carefully constructed survey of more than 25 questions, we examined audience priorities and preferences. While several factors emerged, one theme stood out consistently: trust.

This insight became the foundation of our campaign strategy. Taking an assurance-driven approach, we focused on creating an emotional connection by aligning the bank’s values with what mattered most to its customers. Using this insight allowed us to create messaging and imagery that clearly communicated the bank’s value to prospective customers. We ultimately helped our client build awareness, strengthen credibility and drive meaningful results.

It’s a great example of how research can move marketing beyond assumptions, inform more effectively and deliver measurable results.
Building on a longstanding partnership, RBK produc Building on a longstanding partnership, RBK produced 26 educational videos for Everen, an energy mutual insurance company, as part of its updated technical accreditation program.

The videos were one part of a wider project where we supported the full accreditation refresh, which included updating all the course materials and evaluations, as well as designing and contributing to the build of the new online course.

Covering Everen’s unique structure, product offering, premium model and claims handling, the videos help brokers, clients and other stakeholders understand how the business works.

We managed everything from scriptwriting and talent sourcing to filming, animation, editing and quality assurance.

We take pride in turning complex technical information into content that connects with the right audiences.

AI tools are evolving fast, but which ones actuall AI tools are evolving fast, but which ones actually deliver when it comes to real-world communications?

As part of a recent AI Lunch & Learn hosted by Big Fish Training we explored how some of the tools we use today including ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini actually perform on real communications tasks.

From crisis statements to media pitches and campaign concepts, we explored how the tools stacked up to each other when given the same prompts. This allowed us to see significant differences and how we can use each tool more effectively for different tasks.

The results gave us a look at what AI can genuinely improve, where human judgement remains essential, and how to get more out of each platform.
